Broken Cast Iron Drain
A section of the 4-inch cast iron fitting/pipe in the basement required removal as it passed through the wall and led outside. We expertly cut the section and reconnected it to the PVC fitting just outside the wall, ensuring proper functionality. All necessary digging, backfilling, concrete removal, and step restoration were managed by a separate company.
Fruit Flies
A fruit and sewer fly issue was identified in the basement, likely caused by the vanity trap drying out due to infrequent use. We advised the customer to start running water daily to refill the trap, which should help reduce the fly problem significantly. This proactive approach aims to prevent further infestations while ensuring better hygiene in the bathroom.
